After much prayer and reflection, I’ve decided it’s time to take an extended break from writing Motivational Monday.  It could be for a summer, a season or indefinitely.

When I first started these posts, my hope was simply to encourage others and point hearts toward Christ. It has been a privilege to share Scripture, life lessons, and reminders of God’s faithfulness each week. Thank you to everyone who has read, shared, commented, or simply taken a few moments each Monday to reflect alongside me. Your kindness, encouragement, and support have meant more than I can say.

As I was thinking about what to write this week, I realized something. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do isn’t to keep talking—it’s to be still and listen. There is wisdom in pausing, in stepping away from the noise, and in making room for God to speak in fresh ways. And that’s what I plan to do…be still.  You see, week after week, I share a motivation that has hit close to home in that last week. I tell people, “Take a break! It’s ok!  Just don’t lose your relationship with the Lord.” Well, it’s time I LISTEN and do the same.

Psalm 46:10 reminds us, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Those words aren’t just an invitation to slow down; they’re an invitation to trust. Trust that God is still working even when we step back. Trust that He is still teaching even when we aren’t the ones doing the teaching. Trust that seasons change, and every season has a purpose. Even when we cannot see what He is doing, we can rest in the assurance that He is faithful.

Right now, I need to spend some quiet time with the Lord. I need to study His Word, pray, and allow Him to continue His work in my own heart. I want to be intentional about listening more closely and following wherever He leads. I don’t know how long this break will be. I don’t even know if Motivational Monday will return from Jennifer’s point of view. It is my hope and prayer, that someone else feels led   to write a few lines and post it for all to see.  For now, I simply know this is where God is leading me.

Thank you for walking this journey with me over the years. If these posts have encouraged you, then all glory belongs to God. My prayer is that each of us continues seeking Him—not just on Mondays, but every day. May we keep turning to Him in the ordinary moments, the difficult moments, and the quiet moments alike.

Until then, may you find peace in His presence, strength in His promises, and hope in knowing that even in the quiet seasons, God is never silent. He is near, He is faithful, and He is always at work.

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14

I do love you all.  Truly.  And I hope to be back! I just need to see where the Lord leads me.  I hope you understand.

Love you all,

Jennifer
